About me
Hello, my name is Keith Aceron, and I am honored and happy to be here at Kaiser Permanente to help you with any problems regarding your feet — after all, they are the foundation we stand on!
Biography
I am originally from Loma Linda, born and raised. After seeing both my parents in the medical field, I knew I wanted to continue my journey toward medicine. I went to UCLA and Loma Linda University to become a clinical laboratory scientist as a microbiologist. I loved my job in the lab, but I wanted an opportunity to go out and meet patients face to face. I was intrigued by sports medicine and shoes and combining those got me interested in podiatric medicine and surgery. I went to Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine, graduated in 2013, and then had an opportunity to do my 3-year podiatric surgical residency at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Huntington Beach offices. After completing residency in 2016, I was honored to be hired by Kaiser Permanente in Orange County, and I have been working here since then.
About my practice
It is an honor to be part of the Podiatry Department at Kaiser Permanente. We treat foot pathologies such as ingrown toenails, bunions, hammertoe contractions, neuroma, soft tissue or ganglion cysts of the feet, plantar fasciitis, metatarsalgia, and diabetic foot care and wound care. We incorporate conservative measures using biomechanics and orthotics, as well as more invasive techniques in foot surgery. Teamwork is key, and I am thrilled with the people I work with.
How I thrive
My outlet from medicine is to do photography on the side: family photo shoots, couples, engagements, and even weddings! I am honored to have a beautiful wife who supports me and assists during our photography sessions. We have 2 wonderful dogs who are always patiently waiting for us when we arrive home from work. We love traveling, exploring, trying new food, going on hikes, and visiting new places and also old stomping grounds. When relaxing, my wife and I love spending time with family and relatives or even sitting down at home during family movie nights. Also when feeling excited with friends, we love to sing karaoke, play board games, watch sports, or even play Ping-Pong.
