Where I practice
Greetings and welcome to my Web page! My name is Dr. Jackson and I am fairly new to Kaiser Permanente. Prior to coming here I worked in community medicine for six years. I am a trained family physician and hold a master's degree in public health. Hopefully my page will let you get to know a little about me and help you decide if I am someone you would like as your physician.
I was born and raised in beautiful Southern California. I have lived all over the country, and in Mexico. I dreamed of becoming a doctor as a young child and my passion for medicine continued to grow throughout my life. I am a wife and a mother to two awesome girls. I spend most of my free time with my family. I am dedicated to my job as a physician and also to the well being of my family.
About my practice
I believe a good doctor-patient relationship starts with trust. I build trust with my patients from the very first visit. My team and I are dedicated to making our patients feel comfortable while providing the necessary medical decision making, testing, and treatment. I encourage open communication at all times, which I feel is the key to a successful partnership with my patients.
How I thrive
Family is key. I thrive by spending time with my husband, children, parents, and extended family. Having a strong supportive family unit is how I thrive. Being active with my kids (swimming, walking, playing) are not only good for our bodies but good for our emotional health. I also love kickboxing, Zumba, and relaxing! I laugh and joke often. Humor is definitely one of the ways I thrive. Life is a journey and a continuous learning process. Find your ways to thrive and be a better you.
