Where I practice
Hello, and thanks for taking the time to look through this glimpse of me and my practice. I am so blessed and thankful to be a pediatric cardiologist with Kaiser Permanente. I hope you will find that your experience with us goes beyond your expectations.
I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, where I had an awesome childhood. I have a wonderful mom, dad, brother, and sister. I went to some great schools, but I also realized the importance of learning from everyday experiences. My desire to become a doctor started in elementary school. The heart is fascinating. It is such a joy to study and know about the science of the heart as it relates to caring for children and families. It is a perfect melding of the science and art of medicine. I adore my lovely wife and beautiful son. I thank God for them and for the opportunity to serve and care for the kids and families at Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
Your child's health and safety matter to me. I have the privilege of caring for children from when they are in the womb through every stage of their childhood. My staff and I strive to provide a welcoming and comprehensive care experience for you and your child. My goals are that you and your family are treated in a way I would expect my own family to be treated, and that you leave the office with reassurance and understanding of any heart-related issues.
How I thrive
I exercise by walking with my wife, playing and swimming with my son, and walking our dog. I am continuing to learn about healthy food choices. I exercise my mind by setting aside time to read, to rest, and to engage in deep and enriching conversations. And I exercise my spirit with prayer and by going to church.
