Where I practice
Hi, and thank you for allowing me to introduce myself. As a practicing pediatrician since 1995, I am happy to be a part of Kaiser Permanente and have the opportunity to work with such fine physicians.
I am a native-born Californian and have lived in Southern California my whole life. I went away to medical school in Omaha, Nebraska, and returned to California to complete my training at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. I am a father of two children. Our oldest we adopted in Japan; the younger one is our miracle baby. They are only eight months apart in age, and there is never a dull moment.
About my practice
I feel my role as a pediatrician is to help you, the parent, make the most of the journey you’ve undertaken in raising your children. Each family is unique and there is no one-size-fits-all method of parenting. I work with each family to find the best way to make this work for you, and I really enjoy the diversity and richness of each and every child.
How I thrive
I live well through balancing my work and home lives. Making sure my busy schedule does not keep me from my family is important, but so is making time for myself. I like taking walks, traveling, photography, and taking in the occasional baseball game. I try to enrich my mind by reading, and I enjoy learning about new things.
