Where I practice
Trust is important in building relationships. You need to feel comfortable with your physician to build a strong long-term relationship. I intend to build a trusting relationship with you and welcome you into a lifelong partnership in health.
I was born in the Philippines on a beautiful island called Bohol. Growing up, I looked up to my parents, both of whom were rural doctors on the island. Seeing them help so many people convinced me at a very early age that I should be in the medical field. I moved to the United States in 2001 with my sister. I first worked as a registered nurse in Los Angeles County for five years. I then decided to join the Family Residency Program at Texas Tech University. After completing the program, I moved back to Southern California to get married and be near my family again. I worked in private practice before joining the Kaiser Permanente family. I couldn’t be happier with my decision.
About my practice
I love being a family physician. Every day, I have the opportunity to meet and get to know a lot of people from different walks of life. Every day, I learn about life from the people I interact with. In return, I hope they learn from me as well. I strongly believe that a combination of a healthy lifestyle and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy. My team and I will be here to help and support you in your goal of improved health and wellness.
How I thrive
Keeping a balance in my life is what I strive to do on a daily basis. I am happy with what I do. At home, I also enjoy doing household chores—everything except cooking. My husband and I love to travel, ride our bikes, or just walk on the beach. I spend as much time as I can with my family. They are my strength and foundation.
