Where I practice
Greetings, and welcome to my Web page. I am an ophthalmologist and cornea specialist at Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center and Santa Clarita Medical Offices. It is very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page gives you a chance to get to know me better.
I was born and raised in Southern California. I married my high school sweetheart who has partnered with me through my career. I received my bachelor's degree from UC San Diego. After college, I spent time in China for medical missions and language training. It was during this time that I developed my desire for medicine and eye care. Following my time in China, I completed my medical training in ophthalmology and corneal surgery on the East Coast. I am ecstatic to have returned to Southern California to practice medicine and be with my family.
About my practice
I am trained in corneal and refractive surgery, including the latest in thin partial thickness and full thickness corneal transplants. I have experience in laser vision correction and front of the eye reconstruction. My goal is to help individuals see the best that they can and offer my experience in presbyopic and astigmatism correcting lenses for those undergoing cataract surgery. I perform a wide array of eye surgeries to help with visual rehabilitation. I will work hard to listen to your concerns and needs, while discussing things in understandable and relatable terms. It is my hope that I can help provide care to improve your life and lifestyle needs.
How I thrive
Balancing work and family time is vitally important to me. When not working I enjoy outdoor activities like mountain climbing, cycling, hiking, and snowboarding. My wife and I enjoy travel and exploring local eateries in our area. I also find that if those around you in your community are doing well, you will do well. Community service is very important to me.
