The flu shot is safe for children 6 months and older. If your child is 6 months to 8 years old, they may need two doses of the flu shot. We have the high-dose flu shot for people 65 and older at most Kaiser Permanente flu shot locations. 

We offer several convenient ways to get your flu shot:

  • In-facility vaccination available during a doctor’s visit.
  • Walk in at participating locations — no appointment needed.
