About me
I am a pediatrician and mother of 3: 2 wonderful boys and a dog. I became a pediatrician because I enjoy partnering with parents to help them promote the growth of their kids into healthy and happy individuals. I was raised in Canada and went to medical school at St. George's University School of Medicine. I completed my residency at the Children's Hospital of Michigan and worked as a pediatric emergency physician for 1 year and then an academic pediatrician at the Children's Hospital of Michigan for another 1.5 years. I moved to Vancouver, Washington, to indulge my family in the beautiful weather, excellent schools, and friendly people. I am so happy to be serving this wonderful community!
About my practice
My personal motto as a pediatrician is, "No one knows a child better than their caregivers," and I use this motto to guide all my interactions with patients and their families. I am adept at caring for children with urgent concerns because of my experience working in the pediatric emergency department. I am skilled at diagnosing and managing acute and chronic pediatric conditions, repairing lacerations, removing foreign bodies from ears and noses, splinting, removing cerumen, and caring for patients with complex issues. I previously served a large population of patients with Medicaid and am adept at navigating social concerns. I am so happy to have access to the resources and knowledge that come with being a Kaiser Permanente clinician to serve my patients.
How I thrive
I personally thrive by spending time with my kids, going on nature walks, gardening, and reading science fiction/fantasy novels. I enjoy exploring new places with family and dog.

Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans’ contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of members’ KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.

Referrals to affiliated community physicians/providers in Oregon and Washington
Affiliated community physicians/providers are not part of the NWPMG (Northwest Permanente Medical Group). They are physicians/providers credentialed by Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest and/or who have a contract with the NWPMG.
If your NWPMG physician decides that you require covered services not available internally from an NWPMG physician, he or she may refer you to an affiliated community physician/provider. You must have a written, authorized referral from Kaiser Permanente in order to receive a covered service from an affiliated community physician/provider.
Referrals to affiliated community dentists in Oregon and Washington
Affiliated community dentists are not part of PDA (Permanente Dental Associates). They are dentists credentialed by PDA for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest, and they have a contract with PDA.
If your PDA dentist decides that you require covered services not available internally from a PDA dentist, he or she may refer you to an affiliated community dentist. You must have a written, authorized referral from Kaiser Permanente in order to receive a covered service from an affiliated community dentist.
