Where I practice
Born in San Francisco, I spent nearly as much of my childhood in Lake Tahoe as I did in the Bay Area. The lake and woods imprinted on me from a very early age, and I quickly learned that a mix of city and outdoor forest life was best for me. The story goes that when I was 3 years old, I spotted my first Oregon license plate, saw the tree on it, and declared, "I'm going to live there." It may have taken a few years to get here, but I'm thrilled now to live in this gorgeous state. After receiving my undergraduate degree in biology, I attended the University of Maryland School of Nursing for my second undergraduate degree. I gained 5 years of transitional and intensive care experience at UC San Francisco Medical Center and San Francisco General Hospital and then received my master's of nursing in anesthesia from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland. After working as a CRNA at Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center for nearly 4 years, I was ready to fulfill the promise I made so many years ago as a toddler. I love working for Kaiser Permanente and am so happy to be a member of the Northwest Team.
About my practice
I love what I do. Anesthesia is more than keeping people asleep. I am your eyes, ears, and voice, your guardian, and your sidekick to keep you safe and comfortable. I strive always to give you the best surgical experience possible.
How I thrive
As a natural extrovert, I get my energy from those around me—often my Aussie husband and our young daughter. Our house never has a dull moment, and we love dance parties, backyard gatherings, cookie-baking marathons, and neighborhood walkabouts.
