About me
I am proud to call Portland my hometown. I attended undergraduate training at the Linfield College, Portland campus and worked in the Willamette Valley with cardiac patients as an ICU staff nurse. While my nurse anesthesia training at Wake Forest University has taken me to Ohio, Virginia, and North Carolina, I am excited to return home to Portland. I look forward to helping contribute to the well-being of this population. In my free time, I enjoy nearly all the outdoor activities that the Northwest has to offer. Some of my favorite activities are backpacking the Cascades, windsurfing in the Gorge, and skiing on Mt. Hood. I've recently welcomed a border collie puppy into my life, named Cedar. This has brought us new hobbies, like throwing sticks, playing tug, and meeting all the neighborhood dogs. We look forward to snowshoeing this winter and paddleboarding next summer.
About my practice
I feel lucky to be included as a CRNA in the Anesthesia Department. This opportunity results from a lifelong desire to provide comfort and ease with attentive care, the type of care given to my family members during their protracted ICU stays. The success of their treatment was partly a result of the excellent anesthesia care they received. I enjoy being a Kaiser Permanente clinician because it affords me the opportunity to treat each patient as I would my own family.
How I thrive
I thrive by being outdoors. The times when I get outside to walk my dog, go on hikes, or participate in outdoor sports are the highlights of any day. These times are even better when spent with family and friends and with good snacks.

All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.

Referrals to affiliated community physicians/providers in Oregon and Washington
Affiliated community physicians/providers are not part of the NWPMG (Northwest Permanente Medical Group). They are physicians/providers credentialed by Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest and/or who have a contract with the NWPMG.
If your NWPMG physician decides that you require covered services not available internally from an NWPMG physician, he or she may refer you to an affiliated community physician/provider. You must have a written, authorized referral from Kaiser Permanente in order to receive a covered service from an affiliated community physician/provider.
Referrals to affiliated community dentists in Oregon and Washington
Affiliated community dentists are not part of PDA (Permanente Dental Associates). They are dentists credentialed by PDA for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest, and they have a contract with PDA.
If your PDA dentist decides that you require covered services not available internally from a PDA dentist, he or she may refer you to an affiliated community dentist. You must have a written, authorized referral from Kaiser Permanente in order to receive a covered service from an affiliated community dentist.
