Where I practice
I am thankful for the opportunity to work in my home town of San Diego and be able to provide care to its citizens. It is a pleasure to introduce myself and my practice to you.
I was born in Los Angeles (at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center) and grew up in Southern California. I attended undergrad at UCSD, at which point my parents retired and also moved to San Diego, which has been my home town ever since. My medical training took me out of state to Virginia Commonwealth University. I completed a surgical internship and diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Finally, I completed a fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. From there, I entered into private practice along the coast of North Carolina for about three years. I then took an academic appointment back at the University of North Carolina for one year before returning to San Diego to work for Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
I practice the full scope of diagnostic and interventional radiology from interpreting x-ray, CT, ultrasound and magnetic resonance studies, to actually using x-ray, ultrasound and CT imaging to perform diagnostic and therapeutic minimally invasive procedures to help my patients. I work with a team of well-trained individuals who strive to provide excellent high quality patient care in a timely manner.
How I thrive
To balance my work and life, I spend a lot of time with my family. I enjoy outdoor activities mainly hiking in the many beautiful parks and recreational areas San Diego has to offer.
