Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you a little about my practice. I work with wonderful colleagues and members at Kaiser Permanente, and I look forward to working with you, too.
I grew up in the Midwest but studied at Stanford University as well as New York Medical College. I love living in big cities and chose Los Angeles for the start of my career. I spent almost two years in private practice in the San Gabriel Valley before joining Kaiser Permanente nearly ten years ago. I chose to work with Kaiser Permanente because of its team approach to health care. The camaraderie, the talent of the physicians, and the variety of the members we treat have made joining Kaiser Permanente one of the best decisions of my life.
My practice is centered on orthopedic sports medicine, which mainly consists of knee and shoulder injuries. I have covered numerous sports teams during my training, including the University of Arizona teams, the Chicago White Sox, and various other college and high school teams. However, I treat a whole range of people, from children to seniors. I specialize in arthroscopic (minimally invasive) surgery, with the goal of returning members to their optimal level of functioning as efficiently as possible.
My wife is a former yoga instructor and personal trainer—when she’s not practicing law!—and we strive to exercise at least four to five times per week. We also love to travel, even if it‘s only a short weekend getaway within driving distance.
