Where I practice
Hi, and welcome to my Web page! I'm glad to have the chance to introduce my practice. I have been with Kaiser Permanente since 1997, and I thoroughly enjoy working with members and being able to help them care for their health.
I am originally from Kentucky and moved here in 1994 with my husband, who is a native of Orange County. I love it here and consider it my home. I had wanted to become a physician since I was in the fifth grade, and I feel blessed to have been able to accomplish my goal. I love the practice of medicine, specifically family medicine, because I really get to know my members and they get to know me. I feel I am able to provide better care by knowing your complete history and knowing you as a person. I have two children, so I don't have much time for any hobbies outside of family, but I do enjoy reading and going to the beach! I am active in my local church and feel that my spiritual life is a key component to my overall well-being.
About my practice
I work at the Aliso Viejo Medical Offices, where we have a wonderful staff. I have been at this office since 2009 and currently serve as the physician in charge. I work part-time since having my second child. We work together as a team to fully care for all of your needs. I could not completely care for all of my members without the help of my medical assistants, nurses, clerical staff, and administrators, who make sure the office operates efficiently. I believe that as the physician, I am an adviser to you as the member, and that you are also responsible for living a healthy lifestyle.
How I thrive
I believe in trying to find the correct balance in life between work and family life and that family is the most important part in that balance. I try to stay healthy by keeping physically active with CrossFit, having a well-balanced diet that is composed of clean foods, and spending daily time in Bible study and prayer to keep my focus and priorities in line.
