Where I practice
I'm glad to have a chance to tell you about my podiatry practice and share other information about myself. It’s very important that you feel comfortable with your physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I graduated from California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1988. I did my foot and ankle surgical residency in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Although I enjoyed the experience in Pittsburgh tremendously, I decided to join Kaiser Permanente because it had long been a goal of mine to practice medicine without being under the pressure of managing a private practice.
About my practice
Practicing medicine is a wonderful opportunity to connect with people in a meaningful way, not only using medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what members need. Communication is an important part of my practice. I feel honored that members have entrusted me with their care, and I strive to treat them as I would my own family.
How I thrive
My family life is my major priority. I enjoy spending time at home, helping the children with their homework, and participating in their extracurricular activities. I feel healthy and happy when I work in the yard, spend time in the pool, or read a good book. I especially enjoy reading adventure stories, thrillers, and history.
