Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and look I forward to working with you to care for your health.
I went to medical school at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. I then moved to Southern California and completed a residency program in internal medicine at St. Mary's Medical Center, Harbor-UCLA.
Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need. Being a doctor allows people to share with me their innermost secrets, fears, and hopes; it is a privilege to help patients understand what concerns them, translate what they may not grasp, facilitate getting them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I enjoy running, biking, and playing tennis. I also make it a priority to set aside time to play piano, or just relax.
