Where I practice
Welcome! Thank you for taking time to learn more about my practice in the family medicine residency training program at the Clairemont Mesa Medical Offices. I’ve been practicing with Kaiser Permanente in San Diego since 2002.
I was born and raised in beautiful San Diego. I truly feel blessed to be able to serve our members here at Kaiser Permanente. In addition to my clinical and hospital responsibilities, I serve as an assistant director of our family medicine residency training program, and I hold a voluntary faculty appointment as a clinical assistant professor of family medicine at UC San Diego. Teaching the next generation of family physicians is one of my passions. I have a gorgeous wife, two beautiful children, an energetic Labradoodle, and a Russian Blue cat that think's she human.
About my practice
My focus is on treating young families and children of all ages. I also take care of uncomplicated pregnancies. I’m proud to be educating students of family medicine in our residency program. You can expect the energetic atmosphere of academic medicine in my office. My style emphasizes prevention and being healthy—not only in body, but also in mind and spirit. As an academic, I believe strongly in practicing evidence-based medicine.
How I thrive
I enjoy spending time with my family, studying the intricacies of the bad golf swing, creating experimental sounds with my electric guitar, and experiencing the blessings and fellowship of the other members of my church.
