About me

I grew up in Northern California (just outside San Francisco). As a young adult, I began to work in sales and found my passion was connecting with people. I initially thought this would lead me to corporate sales, so I majored in business. As I later learned, there is no greater connection than that between a patient and his or her physician. I quickly pivoted and started taking prerequisites to go to medical school. I ended up with a double major in business and biology prior to moving on to medical school.

Biography

As a native Californian, I grew up receiving my health care at Kaiser Permanente. I did my medical training and chief resident year and continued as an associate program director at USC. I eventually chose to come to Kaiser Permanente as I wanted to be in a situation where I was delivering high-quality, team-based care.

About my practice

I am also honored to join the strong community of Kaiser Permanente in Cerritos. My goals are to provide you with exemplary care by establishing a strong partnership and working with you for all your healthcare needs. During my time at USC (Go, Trojans!), I came to love teaching medical students and working as a team to provide high-quality care. My love for teaching carries over into my member interactions — I strive to involve you in how to take care of your own body and hope I can teach you what you need to know to do so.

How I thrive

I love spending time with my wife and 3 children. We love to travel together and also stay put and enjoy the Southern California weather. I enjoy playing pick-up basketball whenever possible and plan to as long as my body cooperates. I am a die-hard football fan and do everything I can to never miss a game!
