Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and our members, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I originally decided to become a physician because of the many wonderful experiences I had taking care of patients during my career as a special-procedures radiologic technologist. Upon entering medical school I immediately joined the rural family medicine track because I wanted to work with underserved populations. I had worked with such populations in the past and truly enjoyed my experiences. Ultimately, this was my best decision in medical school because it was during that clerkship that I decided I wanted to be a family medicine physician. During medical school and residency I amassed a wide range of clinical knowledge and had the pleasure of providing health care to many diverse populations. I have enjoyed the variety family medicine has to offer and the excitement of the many unique challenges each new member population presents. I have witnessed firsthand how a doctor can become a friend and even like family to a member, and I have walked side by side with my members as they have faced the many struggles and joys of their lives.
About my practice
As a physician I have a very special opportunity to connect with and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge but also listening and responding to what members need. It is my sincere desire that my members feel they can share with me their deepest concerns and hopes, and that we will work as partners to improve their health and their lives. I feel very honored that members have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.
How I thrive
I believe in balancing work with play, and I exercise regularly and eat in moderation. I also believe in spending time with loved ones and friends.
