About me
I am a human being whose purpose is to help people become their best selves. I do not want you to just look good on paper with nornal range cholesterol and blood pressure, but I want you to feel great and look your best self too. I wanf to make sure you and I are thriving together. I am your partner in health.
Biography
My parents are both originally Egyptian so I am fluent in Arabic, I can read and write Arabic very well as I lived in the Middle East for 5 years. I am married and have two children, one son and daughter. I love children to the point my best pass time is talking to kids and playing with them anything from a board game to soccer. I love to stay active and love to live every breath with purpose and positivity.
About my practice
I am your partner and advocate. It is my job to help you make an informed decision but at the end of the day, I respect everyone's decisions in life. We all have unique life journeys and I understand that 100 percent.
I am passionate about a holistic approach to medicine that focuses on mental health, social support, sleep, exercise and diet. I am a fierce advocate for a whole foods plant based diet and believe that any step towards a "plant forward diet" is a step in the right direction. I absolutely love hot yoga, weight training, and learning from people's cultures and learning from my patients. My patients inspire me in so many ways through their rigor and grit to overcome life's great challenges.
How I thrive
I thrive by doing everything that I preach. I have a strong sense of purpose and believe that everyone was put on earth to serve humanity at large. I absolutely pay attention to nutrition, exercise, sleep family ties, community and spirituality. My faith keeps me humble and patient through thick and thin. I respect everyone regardless of faith or spirutality or race. We are all human and I am here to serve everyone without judgment.
