Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am excited at the opportunity to tell you more about myself and my passion for pediatric cardiology. I truly enjoy being a member of the Kaiser Permanente team, and I look forward to working together with you to take care of your child’s cardiac health.
I grew up in Connecticut. As part of my education and training, I came to California. It was during my training that I found I wanted to help take care of children with heart problems. I completed my pediatric residency training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and my pediatric cardiology fellowship at UCLA. I chose pediatric cardiology as my specialty because I found the resilience of children to be rewarding and inspiring.
As a pediatric cardiologist, I work in diagnosing and managing children with heart disease, including newborns, infants, young children, and adolescents into young adulthood. My goal is to create a respectful and caring relationship with my patients and their families. I work with a team of excellent staff, nurses, pharmacists, and fellow physicians. I value the physician-patient relationship, and consider it a privilege to work together with you. My practice consists of inpatient and outpatient consultations and ongoing care visits. I also interpret diagnostic tests including electrocardiograms, fetal and pediatric echocardiograms, cardiac rhythm monitors, and exercise tests.
My family is my other passion. My husband is also a physician and we believe in emotional health along with physical health, which we attain by spending quality time with our little children.
