Thank you for taking the time to visit my Web page. I am honored to have the chance to introduce myself and tell you about my practice at Kaiser Permanente.
I came to the U.S. after graduating from medical school in 1988. Los Angeles was the first city I settled in, and I quickly developed a love for the weather and the people here. I then decided to make Los Angeles my home as soon as I finished my training. I completed my residency in internal medicine and fellowship training in cardiovascular disease, and I was appointed the chief of medical residents in the Internal Medicine Department at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Immediately after my graduation in 1998, I decided to join Kaiser Permanente. I chose to become a doctor because I felt passionate about helping people and making them feel better. As physician-in-charge of cardiology at the Panorama City Medical Center, I dedicate my time to work with physicians and staff to coordinate care to our members. I will work closely with you to help you stay healthy. I always strive to put you at ease and work with you to get your heart healthy and strong.
My practice spans cardiovascular disease prevention to disease management. It will be a privilege for me to be able to work with you and your family in order to make changes to your lifestyle to promote healthy living and disease prevention. I specialize in cardiac procedures and the implantation and maintenance of cardiac pacemakers and other devices that help control irregular heartbeats. Our cardiology team (physicians, nurses, and staff) works well together and will strive to be compassionate, capable, and professional while you are in our care.
I believe in and practice Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy of preventive medicine and a healthy lifestyle, which includes fitness and healthy eating habits. That’s why I try to enjoy healthy meals and exercise daily to cut down on stress. I keep a good attitude toward my busy schedule and try to balance my work and family time. I enjoy outdoor sports with my family, such as soccer, bicycle riding, and swimming. With my wife, I enjoy walking in the park and exercising at the gym. I also enjoy watching my daughter perform Greek dancing. I try to take mini vacation breaks in order for me to recharge so I can go back to my busy schedule with a good attitude.
