About me
Hello and welcome to my Web page! I am proud and delighted to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente group and our community. I believe it’s important to choose a pediatrician who is a good fit for your child and family. I’m glad for this opportunity to share information about myself to help you start to get to know me.
Biography
My parents emigrated from Gujarat, India to Southern California, where I was born and raised. I was raised in a bilingual home and developed strong values for family, tradition, and work ethic. Since I was a child, I've had a passion for caring for children and knew I wanted to be a pediatrician. Growing up, I spent countless hours volunteering at local hospitals and health fairs, teaching community health education, and participating in health occupation programs for students. Eager to remain in Southern California, I attended college at UC Irvine. I went to College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific at Western University in Pomona, California for medical school, and trained in pediatrics at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital. Upon completing my residency, I joined Kaiser Permanente to work with some of the best physicians in Southern California and provide high-quality health care to the community.
About my practice
As a pediatrician, I’m honored to partner with parents and caregivers in the care and development of their children. Diagnosis and treatment of illnesses is just a small part of what I do. To assure the well-being and health of your child, I provide guidance and education on healthy living, preventive care, parenting, and disease management tailored to your family's needs. I am thrilled to closely work and communicate with a great team of pediatricians and staff to help members in any way I can. I am available to listen and discuss your questions and concerns by appointment, phone messages, and email. I look forward to seeing you soon!
How I thrive
Balancing my professional, family, and personal life is important for my well-being. I spend quality time with my large family and friends over meals, movies, and cultural activities. I keep my mind and body energized by eating healthy and going to the gym, hiking, biking, and doing yoga. I also enjoy reading, arts and crafts, exploring new music, and traveling. I carry the spirit of a child and thrive on my daily interaction with them at home and work.
