Welcome to my Web page.
When I was a pediatric resident, I rotated thorough the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), and really enjoyed taking care of the babies. Since then it became my goal to become a neonatologist and to provide medical care for the youngest and smallest members in our hospitals. I believe that each of us has a personal calling that is completely unique. The best way to succeed in life is to discover what you love to do and then find a way to offer it to others through hard work and service. This is true not just in medicine, but also in all other aspects of life.
The focus in our NICU is to bring together the best of medicine, technology, and compassionate care, and tailor it for each child and his or her family. It’s accomplished with the help of the nurses, respiratory therapists, occupational therapist, and social workers. We are extremely team and family oriented.
Living well is a state of mind. While I’m not able to go to the gym as often as I would like, my everyday attitude towards life is to remain full of optimism. It keeps me focused and content. Having a positive outlook gives me the strength to carry on successfully and enjoy everything I do. Outside of work, my interests include reading, scrap-booking, and traveling. I keep active by playing with my children. I try to be involved in my community by mentoring and volunteering at my children's school. This gives me a good balance between work and my outside responsibilities.
