Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you.
I grew up in San Diego but left to pursue my medical training on the East Coast. I had a wonderful time during my years in Washington, D.C. (medical school at Georgetown) and New York City (residency at Mount Sinai Hospital), but my roots in California finally brought me back. After completing my fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at UC Davis, I moved back to San Diego. I am thrilled to be back in my home town, close again to my family and doing a job that I love.
I also am thankful to be part of such a wonderful team of physicians, respiratory therapists, nurses, and support staff. As a team, we strive to provide the best possible care for our members. I practice pulmonary medicine at the Kaiser Permanente San Marcos Medical Offices. I also care for hospitalized patients in the intensive care unit as well as those hospitalized with respiratory trouble. I consider it a privilege to care for my patients. I strive to work together with them to help them lead healthier lifestyles and improve their quality of lives.
I do my best to maintain a work-life balance, and spending time with my family is very important to me. My hobbies include swimming, especially ocean swimming.
