Kaiser Permanente physician
My gender: Male
Accepting new patients. Referral may be required.
Welcome to my Web page. I am an infectious disease physician at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego.
I am originally from the Midwest but have enjoyed living in San Diego since 2003. Before I came to Kaiser Permanente in 2010, I was a member of the faculty at UC San Diego Medical Center. My wife also works at Kaiser Permanente.
The infectious disease group for Kaiser Permanente in San Diego is made up of a team including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, a social worker, and others. We also have access to a number of resources to help care for our patients. We provide specialized care for pretty much every type of infectious disease, including HIV. I have a personal interest in infectious diseases that affect solid organ transplants (heart, lungs, liver, spleen, and kidneys) and also tropical infectious diseases.
I believe that a healthy mind, body, and spirit are the cornerstones on which to build your day and your life. I try to exercise at least three to four times per week. I enjoy practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu and otherwise trying to stay active. Chances are that I'll be asking you about ways in which you stay fit and have suggestions if you need some ideas. I look forward to participating in your health care
