About me

Hello! I hope this Web page helps you learn more about me personally and as a physician. I look forward to meeting you and partnering with you to care for your health.

Biography

I finished my medical training in 2006 and have been working for Kaiser Permanente ever since. Outside of work, I've been especially blessed with a wonderful wife and a young son and daughter. Although I love my work, nothing compares to coming home and spending time with my family.

About my practice

I am fortunate to work with other great physicians and staff in the nephrology department. Together, we provide great care for our patients. I strive to work hard for my patients' health. First, I do my best to thoroughly explain everything to members who come to me for care: their disease, its causes, and its treatments. Second, I work with them to find the specific treatment that works best for them. Of course, I need and expect my patients to work hard for their health, as well. I need them to know what medications they are taking and to take them as prescribed. I ask them to eat right, exercise, and lose weight as best they are able. Being diagnosed with kidney disease can be a scary thing. We, the physicians and staff here in the nephrology clinic, do our best to answer all of our patients' questions, help them in whatever way we can and make them feel more at ease.

How I thrive

Keeping well balanced in life is very important to me. My wife makes sure that we eat healthfully, and we try to exercise daily. I really do feel better when I am doing these things. We are very involved with church and make serving God and the church the priority of our life together.
