Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page! I hope that by sharing the information below, you can get to know me better. I look forward to seeing you at your next visit.
I grew up in Los Angeles, where I attended college at UCLA and received my bachelor's degree in science. My first real exposure to health care was helping a woman deliver her first child while I was a college volunteer. This amazing experience led me to become a physician and get involved in women's health. I completed medical school and my Ob/Gyn residency at UC San Diego. Since then, I have been working at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego. I’m married and have two wonderful children.
About my practice
My practice is open to women age 11 and older. I see women for both general and high-risk concerns. Because I’m a young doctor, I feel it’s very important to stay up-to-date with new research and technology. In addition, I highly value my relationship with my members. I think it's important for members to be active participants in their own health care. At Rancho Bernardo, we have a wonderful team of nurses, medical assistants, and midwives who strive to put you first.
How I thrive
I believe it's necessary to have a well-balanced life. Even though I have a busy life, I try to exercise regularly and have run two half-marathons in the past. I also enjoy yoga, Barre classes, and massages, and think they’re great ways to de-stress. As a family, we love to try out new restaurants and travel.
