Welcome to my Web page. I'm glad you have chosen Kaiser Permanente for your medical care. Choosing the right provider is an important decision. I hope the following information will help you learn a little about me so you can make the right choice.
I was born in Vietnam and came to the United States when I was 14 years old. I have always enjoyed caring for my family and others, and felt that family medicine offered me the best opportunity to continue that interest. I have been married for more than 20 years and have three sons. We enjoy spending time together. I also enjoy cooking, reading, singing, dancing, and traveling when I have the opportunity.
About my practice
I have been with Kaiser Permanente since I finished my residency in family medicine at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center/UC Irvine in 1995. I worked in primary care at Kaiser Permanente Montebello Medical Offices for eight years and then Torrance Medical Offices for almost 10 years. I am proud that I have been able to work with such wonderful physicians and other health care team members. We have worked together to make many changes to help our members to live healthier and thrive. I have now moved on to a new position at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center in the Urgent Care Department. I will miss all of my patients in primary care, however, I will continue to be part of the Kaiser Permanente team, providing high-quality care to those who have urgent medical needs.
How I thrive
Maintaining a healthy balance in work and play is important to me. I exercise regularly at the gym and walk four to five times a week. I read and spend time with my family to relax. I try to keep my work hours flexible to allow time with my family and friends.
