Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I was born on the historical country of Egypt. After finishing my medical school in Egypt I decided to come to the United States for my higher education. I did my family practice residency at King Drew Medical Center, Los Angeles and am board certified in family medicine. I have wanted to be a physician since eighth grade when my mother had an asthmatic attack and I was looking for immediate help to relieve her distress. I knew that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in people's lives, and practicing medicine gives me that opportunity.
About my practice
I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I'm also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your health. Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what members need. Being a doctor allows people to share with me their fears and hopes; it is a privilege to help members understand what concerns them, translate what they may not grasp, facilitate getting them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that members have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. My family life is my major priority. My wife, three girls and I enjoy listening and playing music and singing in church .
