Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page and thank you for taking the time to visit. I really appreciate your interest.
I'm originally from Fall River, MA. My parents were immigrants from Egypt. I visited Egypt once, and it was a great trip! I lived in Washington, D.C. for four years, where I attended Georgetown University for my undergraduate education. I studied languages and linguistics. After that, I went to medical school in Boston (closer to home), but decided on a big change for my residency at McGill University in freezing cold Montreal! I really enjoyed my time there, despite the weather. Culturally and socially, Quebec was a real eye-opener and proved to be a very worthwhile endeavor. I definitely learned a lot, and grew as a person and as a physician from my diverse experiences there.
About my practice
I joined Kaiser Permanente shortly after finishing my dermatology residency and my dermatology board exams. I'm excited to be part of the great team at the Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center. Each member of the staff is really terrific and very caring. I've really enjoyed meeting all my wonderful members as each one has a different story to tell. I feel privileged to be their dermatologist and have them entrust their care to me. I try to always live up to the high standard of care that they expect and deserve.
How I thrive
I live well by staying close to my family, and enjoying my time with my husband and four wonderful children. I'm very fortunate to have such a loving family circle. I enjoy balancing the challenges of full-time practice with being a mother and a wife. I have lots of support at home, so it's been great so far. Hope to see you soon!
