Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. It’s my pleasure to introduce myself and, hopefully, make your experience at Kaiser Permanente a personal one. I’m a family practice doctor who has been practicing with Kaiser Permanente for nearly 20 years. I came to Kaiser Permanente straight out of my residency, and have had a great experience working here.
I was born in Alexandria, Egypt, and came to the United States for a better life. I was very close to my grandfather and, when he became ill, he had a young, dedicated doctor that took great care of him. He made a lasting impression on me and becoming a medical doctor has been my passion since the age of 12. I’ve been married for 24 years to my husband who is also a physician at Kaiser Permanente. We have two adult children—one graduating and one starting college.
About my practice
I’ve been with Kaiser Permanente since 1997 and have established a practice that I care about deeply. My staff and I work as a team to optimize our members’ health through guidance and education. Our goal each day is to make each member feel that we care about him or her.
How I thrive
I practice what I preach and exercise every day. I enjoy walking and cycling with my family in the summer. Cooking is my other passion. I love making food that is striking to the eye and tastes great.
