About me

I am glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It is very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.

Biography

I was born in India, in a city called Hyderabad. After I attended medical school, I decided to come to the United States to further my education. I did my postgraduate residency and postdoctoral fellowship training in Southern California. During my residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center, I fell in love with the Southern California area and decided to live here. I love to exercise and run regularly. When I do travel, I try to return to India to visit my family and friends.

About my practice

Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need, especially related to their pain. Being a doctor allows people to share with me their innermost secrets, fears, and hopes; it is a privilege to help patients understand what concerns them, translate what they may not grasp, facilitate getting them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.

How I thrive

I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy health in body, mind, and spirit, and try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family outings for local theme parks and beaches, and I try to remain active with my local community. Along with my wife, son, and two daughters, I enjoy summer trips to India and quiet family time at home.
