Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician at Kaiser Permanente. It's very important that you feel comfortable with any and all of your physicians, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I'm a native Southern Californian and have spent time living throughout California, both Northern and Southern. I grew up in Los Angeles, but now live in San Diego. I'm have now been here for almost 10 years and love it! There is so much to do and see. I've wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember. My father was a physician. But I was also inspired by the compassion I felt for people and my experiences with sick loved ones. Practicing medicine gives me the opportunity to provide compassionate and empathetic care to many people who are in need.
I'm a pulmonary and critical care physician, and have practiced for about 10 years at the Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center. I also work part time at our Otay Mesa Medical Offices. As of February 2014, I am the chief of the Division of Pulmonary Medicine.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two young daughters, exercising, cooking, and traveling.
