About me
Hi, my name is Dr. Maya Wille. I appreciate the chance to share my background and a bit more about myself with you. Finding a personal physician you feel comfortable with is essential, and I hope this information helps you get to know me better.
Biography
I was born and raised in Fresno, and I speak Spanish. Coming from a large family of physicians, I’ve witnessed firsthand what a rewarding career medicine can be. This background inspired me to pursue a path in healthcare, as I’ve always admired the dedication and compassion my family members have shown in their work. Their influence has been instrumental in shaping my own passion for helping others and making a positive impact in people's lives.
About my practice
I originally planned to pursue a career in psychiatry, but everything changed when I experienced my pediatrics rotation in medical school, and I fell in love with the field of pediatrics. I was drawn to the dynamic nature of working with children and the opportunity to play a role in their growth and development. One of the things I enjoy most about pediatrics is witnessing the incredible journey of kids as they grow up, each stage bringing new challenges and milestones. I also value the strong partnerships I build with families, working together to support their children's health and well-being. Helping kids grow up healthy and reach their full potential is truly rewarding, and it’s why I am so passionate about my work as a pediatrician.
How I thrive
I have a deep love for being in nature, which often means going on hikes and exploring new trails. There’s something incredibly refreshing about being surrounded by greenery and fresh air. I also enjoy attending live music events, where the energy of the crowd and the music create a unique experience. In my downtime, I love getting creative with various crafts, which allows me to express myself and relax.
Spending quality time with my family and friends is incredibly important to me, as their support and love bring so much joy to my life. My cat, Chico, is also a big part of my life, and his playful and affectionate nature always puts a smile on my face. Being surrounded by the people and activities I love most keeps me grounded and fulfilled.
