Kaiser Permanente physician
My gender: Male
Accepting new patients.
Welcome to my Web page. I’m glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It’s very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I’m originally from Ohio. (My last name is Greek, in case you were wondering.) I went to Ohio State University for college and played varsity lacrosse there. I then went to Guadalajara, Mexico, for medical school and learned Spanish. I finished medical school at New York Medical College and then moved to California, where I did my residency at the UC Irvine Medical Center. That is also where I met my wife. We have four children.
I believe that staying healthy is a lot about preventive medicine. Most chronic medical conditions are preventable, and this is what my goal is. I believe that most every medical condition or problem will improve significantly with a healthy, predominantly plant-based diet, exercise, weight loss, and a low-stress lifestyle.
It is easy to stay well and thrive. Don’t smoke, have your blood pressure checked regularly, control high cholesterol, exercise daily, don’t become overweight, and decrease your weight if you are overweight. Participate in screening tests like mammograms, Pap smears and colonoscopies, since they are proven to save lives. Decrease stress and enjoy life!
