Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to be part of Kaiser Permanente. I have many great colleagues and patients here, and I look forward to partnering with you to care for your health.
I was born on the beautiful island of Guam (Guahan) and grew up in a village called Sinajana. After high school, I came to the United States for my college education. I did my undergraduate studies in the state of Washington and medical studies in Southern California. During my residency and cardiology fellowship in Los Angeles, I enjoyed living in the South Bay Area and decided to live there. I have four children and a very supportive husband. I enjoy spending much of my off-work time with them. When I do travel, I try to return to Guam to visit family.
About my practice
My career in internal medicine has presented me with a special opportunity to connect with and help people. My medical training is vital in providing care, of course, but so is just listening and responding to what my patients may need. It’s a privilege to help alleviate their concerns, assist them in understanding what they might not fully comprehend, and facilitate getting them the appropriate care. I feel very honored that my patients have entrusted me with their care, and I make every effort to treat them as I would my own family.
How I thrive
My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family events and outings, and balance that with personal fitness with regular visits to a local gym. I strive to stay active in philanthropic organizations, after-school and Boy and Girl Scout activities with my children, and church activities. But I like some quiet time with my family at home, too. I also enjoy music and dance. I have many opportunities to attend musical events in the South Bay and Los Angeles area.
