Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and to tell you about my work as a physician at Kaiser Permanente.
I was born in Manila, Philippines, and moved to California at a young age. I studied biology at UC Riverside then relocated several times in order to complete my medical training. I spent my first two years of medical school in Dominica, West Indies, then the last two years of my clinical training in Brooklyn, New York. I then lived in Shreveport, Louisiana, for four years, where I completed a combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics. As much as I enjoyed my experiences these past several years, Southern California will always be home.
About my practice
I am a hospitalist, which means I take care of patients who are admitted to the hospital for care. I work closely with the rest of the hospital team (consulting physicians, nurses, case managers, social workers, and therapists) to help you get better and get you back to your home and loved ones.
How I thrive
Keeping a balanced life is important. I feel that it is important to work hard and just as important to play hard. Although working in the hospital can be pretty stressful, I make it a priority to spend quality time with family and friends to help me relax and enjoy life.
