About me
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. My name is Long. I realized the value of my vision after I started wearing prescription eyeglasses in high school for my distance vision (I also recently started wearing bifocals). As your optometrist—and a fellow wearer of corrective lenses—I truly enjoy helping my patients with their eye health.
Biography
Practicing optometry here in Riverside allows me to be close to my family. The support I received from my family was a huge support as I attended school and then started my optometry practice. I have two twin sons and a daughter whom I routinely check their eyes so they can see to do their homework. I spend my time raising my children besides practicing optometry.
About my practice
Kaiser Permanente implements cutting-edge technology to provide patients with the best lenses available on the market, for their prescription eyewear as well as contact lenses. I am part of a team from optometry, and together with ophthalmology and optical departments we provide complete eye care services to our patients. As an optometrist, my philosophy of delivering eye care is to do work together with my patients to do what is best for their needs. I enjoy learning about my patients' backgrounds. I discuss with my patients their visual needs for work, school, home, and various recreational activities in which they are involved. I also provide general contact lens services suitable for patients who are involved in sporting activities, as well as fit specialty contact lens for patients who have an irregular or dry eye surface.
How I thrive
Family time is vital to me. I enjoy going for a swim at the beach and then taking a stroll on the boardwalk with the family, as well going on bike rides at the park. In my free time, I listen to music, reading, and help my kids with their homework.
