Where I practice
Welcome! I am pleased that you're visiting my Web page. If you have already experienced my care, I hope it was deft, gentle, and positive. I strive to give such care to all my patients.
An avid athlete and sports fanatic, I attended USC and then osteopathic medical school in pursuit of sports medicine. My career focus was decided the first time I picked up a syringe and performed a steroid injection to alleviate knee pain in an aching athlete-I was hooked on the pharmacokinetics of the human body. I now perform hundreds of injections for the induction of anesthesia, alleviation of pain, localization of anatomy, and other purposes. I feel so blessed that my favorite subject of study and fascination is now my profession.
About my practice
I practice anesthesiology for patients of all ages. My residency training at southern Arizona's premier Level 1 Trauma Center involved pediatric, geriatric, and bariatric populations in specialties such as vascular, cardiothoracic, neuro and obstetrics. I take pride in each anesthetic I deliver, whether it is for the most complicated heart or lung transplant or a simple eyebrow lift. The most enjoyable part of my job is meeting the patients and addressing their concerns about the operating room experience.
How I thrive
I love my work but still crave my days off. In my spare time, you can find me scaling the local mountains, jogging at the beach, biking, and racing triathlons. My addictions are many: fresh air; abundant sleep; an adrenalin rush; uninhibited laughter; and large volumes of salad, pizza, and french fries. I believe in preserving the accord among the most essential three things in life: physical, intellectual, and emotional well-being. Only when we cultivate their balance can we truly live well.
