About me
Welcome to my Web page! Thanks for the opportunity to let you know a bit about me.
Biography
I’m originally from the East Coast, but came to California to attend medical school at Loma Linda University. I married a local, and was fortunate to find a job in this lovely town, so it appears I'm here to stay. We enjoy living here in a house surrounded by lots of trees, proximity to family, a good church, and nearby church school for our children. I come from a close-knit family of scientists. Two of my three brothers have Ph.D.s in biology; my husband also has a Ph.D in biology. Our children don’t seem interested in careers in science, but they are such cute redheads, we let it slide.
About my practice
I'm board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and have been in practice over twenty-five years. Ask what I like most about my practice, and I’ll tell you its spending time talking, teaching, and learning from the women who are my patients. I would be delighted to be your physician.
How I thrive
I thrive on my family and friends, and am practicing part-time so I can be more available for them. My faith is important to me, and keeps me grounded. I’ve been a vegetarian since childhood, and eat healthfully. To stay fit, I enjoy walking. I always keep crossword puzzles, Sudoku, or Kakuro puzzles in my lab coat pocket to make sure my mind is getting exercise. I enjoy writing and reading non-fiction, travel, and music of all kinds.
