Where I practice
My family moved from the Philippines when I was very young. My 4 siblings and I grew up in Sacramento, California, where we were all Kaiser Permanente members. I was gifted with many kind and compassionate healthcare providers over the years. I am thankful for the way that they modeled integrity, the highest standard of care, and respect for me as a patient. I hope these are qualities I bring to my own medical practice.
I completed my undergraduate education at UC Davis. I then had the pleasure of attending medical school at the University of Utah followed by residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. After a year of chief residency, I was given the opportunity to practice at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego.
About my practice
My focus will be to provide high-quality, compassionate internal medicine care to members. My passions are education and life-long learning. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where my colleagues and I are able to exchange knowledge, ask questions, and share resources with diligence and rigor. Similarly, I enjoy creating ongoing, trusting relationships with members so that they feel safe asking questions and receiving the information they need to make informed decisions about their care.
How I thrive
I am at my best when I spend time with my loved ones and when I am able to exercise my medical abilities in the service of members. I find meaning in searching for the blessings in all life’s experiences.
