Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I'm glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It's very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I was born in Taiwan and immigrated to the United States along with my family at age 7. I grew up mostly in Utah and New Mexico. After high school, I went to school on the East Coast (Philadelphia and Boston) before returning to Utah for medical school and residency training. After completing my residency, I was attracted to Los Angeles because of the great opportunity here at Kaiser Permanente. I met my wife here and have finally put down roots in Southern California.
About my practice
Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need. Being a doctor allows people to share with me their innermost secrets, fears, and hopes; it is a privilege to help patients understand what concerns them, translate what they may not grasp, facilitate getting them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.
How I thrive
Outside of work, my family life is my major priority. I enjoy quiet family time at home and going on date nights with my wife.
