About me

Welcome to my Web page. I would like to introduce myself to you and tell you a little bit about my practice.

Biography

I moved to Southern California with my family at the age of 10 and have been living here ever since, except for my one-year internship in Northern California. I returned to Southern California to finish my residency in internal medicine and later on did a fellowship in nephrology. I have been practicing medicine in Southern California since I finished my medical training.

About my practice

My medical practice involves caring for patients with kidney diseases. This includes patients with chronic kidney diseases and end-stage kidney diseases. Patients with end-stage kidney disease are either on hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, or have received a kidney transplant. I see my patients in several different settings: in the clinic, in the peritoneal dialysis unit, or at one of our affiliated hemodialysis units in Rancho Cucamonga and San Bernardino. I also follow my patients in the hospital for continuity of care when they get admitted to the Kaiser Fontana or Ontario Hospitals. I am also a member of Kaiser Permanente Southern California regional committee of medical directors for our affiliated dialysis units.

How I thrive

I am firm supporter of a healthy lifestyle for myself, our members, and our community. I thrive physically by doing my best to get regular exercise and staying active in outdoor activities and sports, such as biking and hiking. To thrive spiritually, I try to stay active in a church community. To flourish mentally, I read and take courses to continue learning, in subjects outside of medicine as well as in it.
