Where I practice
Hi! Welcome to my Web page. I look forward to serving you and your family. I am fortunate to work with great colleagues here at Kaiser Permanente, and our mutual goal is to give your child the best possible care.
I am a native Southern Californian who grew up as a Kaiser Permanente member. After high school, I moved away from California to complete my undergraduate and medical school training in the cold climate of Cleveland. After finishing medical school, I spent six years in San Francisco completing my residency and fellowship in pediatric nephrology. The warm weather drew me back to Southern California. I have two older brothers who are practicing medicine as well. Being a physician fulfills my passion for caring for your child and your family on a personal level.
About my practice
Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to serve people in ways that matter, utilizing medical skills and knowledge but also listening and responding to what members need. It is a privilege to help members understand what concerns them, get them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. As a pediatric nephrologist, I know that issues can arise at any moment. It is my philosophy to always be available to my members to take care of their needs. I see children with a wide variety of kidney conditions such as hypertension, glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, kidney stones, bedwetting, hydronephrosis, and recurrent urinary tract infections.
How I thrive
Exercise is my stress reliever. I especially love running, playing tennis, and playing basketball. It is crucial that each person has a stress-reducing outlet, because it improves all aspects of life. I also enjoy cheering for the Los Angeles Lakers and celebrating their victories!
