About me

Welcome to Kaiser Permanente, and specifically to my Web page. I strive to treat all of my patients as if they were close friends and family, and I want you to consider me a partner in your journey to good health.

Biography

I was born at the Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center, and I have been involved with Kaiser Permanente ever since. I come from a family with very strong educational ties. My father was a vice president of a local community college, and both of my brothers have gone on to become successful engineers. I was always very interested in the sciences, and medicine was a natural extension of this in application to helping people to live longer, more healthful lives. I grew up in the Yucaipa area of San Bernardino, near the apple-growing community of Oak Glen. Education has always been stressed in my family, and the sciences were a natural curiosity of mine. I completed my undergraduate education at the UC Irvine, and went on to medical school at the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. Upon completion of my family practice internship and residency at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach, I began my career with Kaiser Permanente at the Wildomar Medical Offices in late 2002, and became a medical partner in 2007. I met my wife at the age of 19, and we have been married now for 20 years. I have two daughters under the age of 10, and they are a constant source of happiness and hugs.

About my practice

My practice philosophy is not to dictate or mandate health care to my patients, but rather to assist and work with them to achieve their health goals. I want my patients to feel comfortable discussing anything with me, and I strive to provide consistent, compassionate care for my members. I work diligently to ensure my patients are up to date on their screening guidelines and at their target treatment goals.

How I thrive

I enjoy swimming, boating, skiing, camping and outdoor activities. On fall and winter Sundays, you will find me rooting my beloved Pittsburgh Steelers on to victory! Currently, most of my free time is spent with my beautiful wife and daughters.
