About me
I would like to welcome you all to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself and hope that by reading my biography below, you get to know me a little better. I hope to have the privilege of treating your baby, child, or teenager in the future.
Biography
I was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to the United States along with my family when I was a baby. Growing up, I moved around a lot because my dad was in the Army. I have lived in all parts of the United States. I attended Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. I went to medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin and then came to sunny California for my pediatric residency at University of Irvine. I then joined Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center in 1996 where I worked for two years before transferring to the Rancho Cucamonga Medical Offices. For the past four years, I have had the joy of working with the wonderful patients, families, and medical staff at Kaiser Permanente Upland Medical Offices.
About my practice
I have a large practice of patients ranging from the ages of a few days told to 17, and even a handful of "grandchildren" who are children of previous patients that I had. I thoroughly enjoy going to work because of the patients and families that I have come to know and treat. I will see your babies, children, and teens when they are well as well as when they are sick. I will take the time to listen to your questions and hopefully address all your concerns by the end of the doctor's visit. I try to be as approachable and personable as possible. I will work with you as a team to provide the best health and future for your children.
How I thrive
I try my best to balance my work and personal life. I am a mom to a 15-year-old son and a stepmom to two girls who are 12 and 14. I try to exercise daily by either going to the gym during my lunch break or by doing physical outdoor activities. I enjoy walking, hiking, and biking. My fiancé has introduced me to camping and I love it. I have been on long road trips to various places including Lake Tahoe, Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Canyon, and Crystal Lake National Park. I also enjoy going to concerts and museums. I can't pass up good food and love to cook when I have time.
