Accepting new patients.
Welcome to my Web page. The fact that you are here tells me that you are actively involved in your family's well being. I hope to play a positive role in the life of your child and the health of your entire family.
I grew up in the Los Angeles area and could not imagine raising my family anywhere else. The weather, the culture, and the diversity of our city kept me here for college at UCLA and medical school at USC. Being a pediatrician was the most natural way for me to contribute to our community by reaching out to the youngest members. I hope to make changes in their health that will improve their lives for years to come. Like many of our members, I balance family and career. I believe that being a pediatrician makes me a better mom, and vice versa. My two daughters and one son keep me on my toes. Every day is an adventure.
While I certainly treat medical issues as they arise, I hope to prevent problems as much as possible. I spend a lot of time explaining my observations and medical decisions. I treat each child as I hope my own would be treated. Our goal is to provide everyone with a personal physician with whom they are comfortable. I try to be available in the clinic, and you can also contact my office by phone and email. Our thorough visits may occasionally take more time than expected and I appreciate your patience.
When I am not at work, I expend most of my energy running around after my three young children. I try to eat healthy and walk my kids to and from school when I can. When the weather permits, swimming, biking, and hiking top my list. I have recently taken up jogging in the morning. During my time off, I enjoy travel, reading, and theater. It's not always easy but I am trying to put the "thrive" message to work in my own life as well as that of my patients.
