About me
Welcome to my Web page! I am happy to have this opportunity to present myself and tell you about my practice. It is very important to feel comfortable with your physician and to foster a trusting, healing relationship. I look forward to guiding you in your journey to a healthier, happier lifestyle.
Biography
I’m a New Jersey girl at heart, born and raised in a small rural town in South Jersey. I was a biology major during my undergraduate education at The College of New Jersey. I furthered that interest with a master's degree in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown University before finally realizing that being a physician was what I truly aspired to be. My parents moved to California while I was in medical school and I had been waiting for the perfect opportunity to join them. After completing my family medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University, moving to sunny Southern California was a no-brainer! Three years later and I still think I made the best decision ever.
About my practice
Being a physician is one of the most rewarding and humbling experiences of my life. Every day I go to work I look forward to connecting with people and am amazed at how much my patients teach me. As a family physician, my focus is on preventive care and educating you to be in control of your health. I enjoy taking care of people of all ages and there is no better feeling or sense of satisfaction in my career than when I have the privilege of being involved in the health care of an entire family.
How I thrive
Living well both in and out of work is very important to me. I find balance by keeping my friends and family close to me and spending as much time as I can with them. I love taking last-minute trips and traveling around the world, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, listening to live music, and curling up with a good book. I am a dog lover and enjoy taking my lab pup for long runs and to the dog beach. Spinning, outdoor biking, and running are my newest passions since moving to San Diego.
