About me
Welcome! I am excited to have the opportunity to meet you and share a little about myself. I consider it a true privilege as a women’s health physician to develop trusting relationships with members.
Biography
I was born and raised outside of Philadelphia and did all my education on the East Coast. I decided to come to UCLA for my obstetrics and gynecology (ob/gyn) residency training and have loved living in Southern California for the last decade! During training, I stumbled across this quaint town of Ventura, where my husband and I got engaged and then married, and we decided to move here to become part of the community. My husband and I enjoy the outdoors and all that this beautiful area of Ventura has to offer, including time at the beach or the mountains.
About my practice
As an ob/gyn, I am privileged to develop a trusting relationship with members through the spectrum of their life transitions, from their first pregnancy to menopause and everything in between. It is a privilege working with and taking care of women and advocating for their needs. I believe in educating members about their conditions and pursuing treatments together through informed decision-making. And I believe in the practice of functional medicine as a supplement to your care. There is not a one-size-fits-all model of care in women’s health, and I enjoy listening to women and counseling them on the best solution for their needs.
How I thrive
I love going to spin class, practicing yoga and barre, and spending time with my goldendoodle puppy. My husband and I enjoy camping and spending time in the outdoors. One of our favorite local sites is Lizard’s Rock in Santa Barbara. I think thriving is all about balance and gratitude and being able to find both of those things daily.
