Where I practice
Welcome! I would be privileged to have the honor of providing medical care to you and your family. I welcome all patients, no matter what culture or background.
My love of medicine originated in my childhood. When I was a child, my grandfather, a family physician, used to take me with him to see his patients. By the time I finished high school, I knew my calling was to care for human life. So I decided to become a doctor and, after graduating from medical school, I entered the practice of medicine in Romania. I practiced family medicine there for 12 years. In 1998, I moved to the United States and brought with me the dream of providing high-quality medical care so I could have a positive impact on people’s lives.
About my practice
I was a patient myself a few times. As a patient, I experienced the feeling of being vulnerable and the fear of not knowing what was going on. Practicing medicine with heart is so important to me. Understanding and feeling my patients’ concerns play a tremendous role in bonding with each of them. Risk assessment, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, treatment based on the most current evidence and research, and treatment of acute illness are all part of my practice. I’m also certified as a specialist in clinical hypertension.
How I thrive
For me, medicine is a way of living, a dedication to improving the quality of human life. Keeping myself healthy in order to take care of my patients is very important to me. I love to start the day with an invigorating run or swim, and you will see me competing in 5K runs and half marathons. Let’s cross the finish line together! And last but not least, I love to spend time with my supportive and loving husband as well as my sons, grandson, and young niece and nephew.
